Creative Movement is a playful introduction to dance through tap and ballet-inspired activities in a fun, nurturing environment. Dancers build early skills such as body awareness, balance, coordination, listening skills, and learning right vs. left through creative games, music, and props. Class includes beginner movement like walking on a balance beam, forward rolls on mats, standing on one leg, and simple rhythm activities. This class is designed to develop confidence, motor skills, and a love of movement through imaginative play and exploration.
Required Attire:
*Athletic/Dance Attire (athletic/dance top, skirt, short, legging, leotard, tutu, etc.) Anything they feel special and comfortable in.
*Pink ballet shoes + black mary jane tap shoes
Age Guideline: 2 - 3 Yrs Old

This class will incorporate both HIP HOP and JAZZ dance styles.
HIP HOP: This fun, up-beat class incorporates a variety of freestyle movements,street dance styles and breaking basics primarily performed to kid-friendly hip hop music. The foot work and technical elements will progress in difficulty as they advance each level.
JAZZ: Dancers will learn basic leaps, kicks, and other dance skills to fast-paced, fun music encouraging expression through movement, extending technical elements as they progress each level.
Required Attire:
*Athletic/Dance Attire (athletic/dance top, skirt, short, legging, leotard, tutu, etc.) Anything they feel special and comfortable in.
*Clean tennis shoes + tan jazz shoes
Age Guideline: 3 - 5 Yrs Old

This class focuses on both Tap and Ballet dance styles.
TAP: Dancers will work on basic tap steps and rhythms, extending technical steps as they progress though each level.
BALLET: Dancers will learn basic ballet movements and positions while working on graceful coordination, extending their vocabulary and technical skills as they progress through each level.
Required Attire:
*Athletic/Dance Attire (athletic/dance top, skirt, short, legging, leotard, tutu, etc.) Anything they feel special and comfortable in.
*Pink ballet shoes + black mary jane tap shoes
Age Guideline: 3 - 5 Yrs Old

This age group shifts in structure as we start to focus on individualizing genres of dance to better focus on progressing in the fundamentals. This class focuses on both Jazz and Tap dance styles.
Jazz: Dancers will expand on the technical aspects that are taught within the first levels such as leaps, turns, jumps, extensions, etc and expand on choreography and musicality.
Tap: Dancers will expand on the rhythms and technical tap steps that were given in the first levels while learning the proper ankle, leg, and foot placements for clearer, more precise sounds.
Required Attire:
*Athletic/Dance Attire (athletic/dance top, skirt, short, legging, leotard, tutu, etc.) Anything they feel special and comfortable in.
*Black mary jane tap shoes + tan jazz shoes
Age Guideline: 6 - 8 Yrs Old

This age group shifts in structure as we start to focus on individualizing genres of dance to better focus on progressing in the fundamentals.This fun, fast paced class incorporates a variety of freestyle movements, street dance styles, and expanding on basic breaking techniques and foot work while primarily performed to hip hop music. Dancers will learn proper terminology and history behind hip hop’s various genres such as popping, locking and breaking.
Required Attire:
*Athletic/Dance Attire (athletic/dance top, skirt, short, legging, leotard, tutu, etc.) Anything they feel special and comfortable in.
*Clean tennis shoes
Age Guideline: 6 - 8 Yrs Old

Jazz Technique Level 1 builds foundational skills in alignment, strength, flexibility, and body awareness. Dancers learn basic jazz progressions including turns, pirouettes, and leaps, with a focus on proper technique, placement, and timing. Classes include across-the-floor work and combinations to develop coordination, musicality, and confidence. Advancement to Level 2 requires a clean single pirouette and proper execution of leaps and progressions.
Jazz Technique Level 2 builds on Level 1 by developing strength, control, and technical consistency. Dancers refine alignment, flexibility, and clean execution of turns, leaps, and progressions while advancing pirouette technique, spotting, and rotational control. Classes include across-the-floor work and combinations to improve coordination, musicality, and performance quality. Advancement to level 3 requires clean and consistent double pirouette as well as a good understanding and memorization of traveling turn combinations, grasping the explored concepts while having achieved the proper basic foundational mechanics of leaps and jumps, the proper body alignment and progressive flexibility, and instrutor approval based on ongoing technique assessments. Stretch + Strength Level 3 supports advancing dancers by building the strength, flexibility, and stability needed for higher-level turns, leaps, and extensions. Class focuses on core engagement, balance, control, and safe flexibility training to improve power, endurance, and injury prevention. Advancement requires instructor approval based on ongoing assessments.
Stretch + StrengthLevel 4 supports advanced dancers with focused conditioning and flexibility training to meet the demands of high-level technique. Emphasis is placed on core strength, stability, mobility, and endurance to support strong, controlled movement, higher extensions, and powerful leaps. Placement requires instructor approval and is reserved for dancers demonstrating consistent technical readiness.

Turns + Leaps Level 3 refines advanced technique while building power, precision, and consistency in turning and traveling movements. Dancers progress in pirouettes, directional turns, and leap combinations with a focus on strong alignment, control, sustained relevé, height, and safe landings. Classes emphasize the mechanics needed for advanced training, with ongoing assessments. Advancement to Level 4 requires instructor approval and consistent readiness across both Turns & Leaps and Stretch & Strength.
Turns + Leaps Level 4 is designed for advanced dancers ready to refine high-level turns and jumps. Dancers train multiple pirouettes, complex turning sequences, and dynamic leap combinations with a focus on control, balance, power, and precision. Across-the-floor progressions challenge musicality and performance quality. Placement requires instructor approval and demonstrated technical readiness.

Ballet 1 introduces foundational ballet technique, including posture, turnout, alignment, and basic vocabulary. Dancers develop strength, coordination, and body awareness through barre, center work, simple jumps, and introductory turns. Classes focus on clean lines, musicality, and movement quality. Advancement to Ballet 2 requires instructor approval based on technical readiness.
Ballet 2 builds on Ballet 1 with structured barre work and expanded vocabulary. Dancers refine turnout, alignment, foot articulation, and coordination while improving movement clarity, control, and use of port de bras. Classes introduce more complex steps, jumps, and directional changes, strengthening musicality, spatial awareness, and movement retention. Advancement to Ballet 3 requires instructor approval based on technical readiness and mastery of Ballet 2 concepts.

Ballet 3 transitions dancers into more advanced classical training with a focus on precision, control, and clarity of movement. Dancers deepen their understanding of turnout, alignment, and coordination while expanding vocabulary, including directional changes, épaulement, and arabesque work. Barre and center work become more complex with advanced jumps, turns, and traveling combinations that build strength, musicality, and consistency. Advancement to Ballet 4 requires instructor approval based on mastery of Ballet 3 skills.
Ballet 4 is for advanced dancers refining high-level classical technique and artistry. This level emphasizes precision, strength, control, and a deeper understanding of ballet principles such as épaulement, facings, and directional movement. Dancers progress through advanced barre and center work, including turns, balances, allegro, and complex traveling combinations. Focus is placed on clarity, alignment, musicality, and consistent technical execution. Pointe readiness may also be evaluated based on strength, stability, and alignment. Advancement and pointe eligibility require instructor approval.

Pre-Pointe prepares dancers for pointe work by developing the strength, alignment, and technique needed for a safe transition. Training focuses on foot and ankle strength, core stability, turnout, and overall ballet fundamentals. Dancers must be enrolled in Ballet 3 for at least one year and are evaluated throughout the course for readiness based on strength, technique, and alignment.
Required Attire:
*Leotard, convertible pink tights so feet can be exposed + pink ballet shoes
*Hair pulled back tight into a bun

JR Hip Hop is a fast-paced class that introduces freestyle movement and foundational hip hop styles including whacking, breaking, popping, and locking. Dancers learn combinations that build rhythm, coordination, and performance skills while developing confidence and individuality. The class also explores the cultural roots and history of hip hop styles.
JR Contemporary introduces dancers to storytelling through movement, focusing on musicality, emotion, and expressive performance. Dancers learn to connect with music, explore dynamics, and create meaningful movement phrases while drawing from personal expression. The class also introduces foundational contemporary technique, including floor work and beginner tricks, helping dancers grow as both performers and technicians.

Age Guideline: 9 - 11 Yrs Old

TN/SR Hip Hop builds on Jr Hip Hop with more advanced footwork, choreography, and technique. Dancers refine styles such as popping, locking, breaking, and whacking while improving musicality, speed, coordination, and performance quality. The class also continues developing freestyle skills, stage presence, and cultural understanding of hip hop.

Age Guideline: 12+ Yrs Old

TN/SR Contemporary builds by expanding movement vocabulary, musicality, and dynamic range. Dancers develop stronger technique, control, and fluidity while exploring more complex choreography, transitions, and floor work. Emphasis is placed on deeper emotional expression, artistic performance quality, and connecting movement to music with intention and clarity.

Improvisation & Choreography Combo focuses on the evolution of creative movement and performance. While JR dancers build foundational self-expression through guided storytelling, TN/SR dancers continue to grow by deepening their improvisation skills and mastering complex choreographic tools. This collaborative environment allows JRs to take part in learning select choreography from the TN/SR dancers, resulting in separate, polished pieces for the year-end showcase.
